DON'T SHIVER PART 2 - AS IN HAPPY; MUSIC: S. PREVOST, LYRICS: R. JAWORSKI

another day in the factory

thirteen hours of work

going home to nothing

but a cot in a one man suite

got 5 hours of sleep

and wake again to kiss the bosses feet

the promise of freedoms

the only thing that keeps me goin

CHORUS

one more day adds one more buck

to my fattening wallet

the economy's been booming

inflations what they call it

5 bills can't get me

what one could in teh past

have to work twice as hard

just so i can last

CHORUS

the war is finally over

and all the boys come home

they're marching down broadway

parading their victory

families, friends aren't happy

cuz without war there is no money

the poor lads don't understand

CHORUS

the factories are all closing

they've boarded up the doors

big business is over

its useless without war

i've lost my room, i've lost my cot

the landlord nearly had me shot

never thought things would get this bad

CHORUS
